Your Second Visit to Our Fremont Practice

On your report visit we explain what we found and how we may be able to help you.

Report of findings

Once the information is collected and examinations are performed, the Doctor will give you a detailed report of all findings and answer any questions including:

  • What’s wrong and why is it wrong?
  • Whether the problem is fixable or patchable?
  • How long will sickness care take?
  • When do we start wellness care?
  • What will it cost?

After reviewing your health history, goals, and examining your spine and X-rays, your Doctor will discuss recommendations and notify you if your condition requires care with other providers.  Your Doctor will provide the best treatment and wellness program for your needs.

Treatment

At the conclusion of your second appointment, you can choose to experience your first gentle, specific, scientific, spinal adjustment.  It’s your body so your opinion always counts.  Feel free to ask any questions or express any concerns you may have

Wellness Program

Prior to leaving, the Doctor will suggest a wellness program to incorporate outside of treatment.  If you are in pain when you first come to our office this may include: ice or heat application instructions, certain activities or positions to avoid, and at home exercises and/or stretches.  If you desire, our wellness team will work with you also to create healthy habits and routines for your lifestyle.  Every person in unique, therefore everyone requires a customized wellness plan.  The purpose of our wellness program is for you to achieve good spinal alignment, have a healthy diet, exercise, and maintain a positive mental state.

Dr. Abercrombie Asks some important questions of interest to Fremont residents - Chiropractor Fremont Dr. Abercrombie Asks...

What's the difference between sick care and health care?
Sick care is largely about relieving or suppressing symptoms. Health care is about improving performance. While sick care is about how you feel, health care is about how you function. Sick care is what you do to treat an obvious problem, and health care is what you do to avoid the problem and advance your well-being.
What is the significance of "growing pains?"
Chiropractors know that aches or pains at any age mean something's not right. In fact, many children go through stages of growth without aches or pains. So while "growing pains" may be common, they're not normal. That's why our Fremont chiropractic practice sees lots of children. A chiropractic checkup for your child can often help detect and correct problems that are more difficult to correct in Fremont adults.
