Your First Visit to Our Fremont Practice

Patient Forms

Upon entering our office, our receptionist will welcome you as a member of our family.  We will request that you complete our patient forms located in the new patient center.  This paperwork provides us with your health history and information on your condition.

Consultation

Next, you will have a consultation with the Doctor to discuss your health-related problems, concerns, and potential treatment options.  This initial visit is designed for the doctors to learn more about you, your condition, and expectations to determine how chiropractic care can meet your goals.

You will be warmly welcomed and made to feel at home. Help is on its way!

Examination

After your consultation, the doctor will perform a complete chiropractic examination, testing your reflexes and flexibility.  Other standard neurological, orthopedic, postural, and physical tests will be performed as well.  However, nothing will be done in our office without your consent.

X-Ray Studies

Depending on your specific condition, we may take x-rays as well.  X-rays help us develop the most effective treatment plan for you, and alert us of any serious spinal conditions.  Most people are amazed once they see their X-rays up close.  In some cases, they can even identify their misalignments and degeneration themselves.

Dr. Abercrombie Asks some important questions of interest to Fremont residents - Chiropractor Fremont Dr. Abercrombie Asks...

Why does chiropractic work?
Chiropractic works because your nervous system, consisting of your brain, spinal cord and all the nerves of your body, controls and regulates every cell, tissue, organ and system of your body. A chiropractor locates and reduces areas of nervous system compromise (usually along the spine) so your capacity to heal is restored. Chiropractic works by helping your body work as it was designed.
Where do most Fremont residents get their first vertebral subluxation?
Being born in a hospital is a common source of vertebral subluxation. Trauma from forceps delivery has been replaced with drugs, vacuum extraction, Cesarean section and births that are "scheduled" to fit the workweek routines of Ob-Gyns. That's why we recommend a chiropractic checkup for every Fremont newborn.
