About Fremont Chiropractic in Fremont

Fremont chiropractic team.

Delivering quality chiropractic care to the Fremont community. Dr. Abercrombie has been providing excellent treatment for a number of patients with musculoskeletal complaints, including low back pain (second most cause of visits to the doctor) headache, car and work related pain.

Our approach is simple. We know our health is directly related to the function of the nervous system. The function of the nervous system can be affected by many different stresses, one of them being physical. Physical trauma, whether repetitive or a major one time event can cause severe dysfunction to the soft tissues of the spine, including joints, muscles, ligaments, tendon and nerves. If the body does not heal correctly from this trauma the nervous system will be effected which may lead to chronic pain, stiffness and loss of function.

During our examination we will look for the soft tissue structures that may be causing your problem. These soft tissue structures may be affecting your nervous your system, which may be causing your pain. We often find that when all others attempts to treat your condition have failed or when all your diagnostic tests come back normal, that many times the explanation can be soft tissue or nervous system related which may be helped with joint or soft tissue manipulation.

While we generally meet people after they’ve lost their health, our commitment is two-fold:

1. Relief Care

When many people seek care in our office they have one goal: RELIEF!!. So that’s what we give them! During this initial stage of intensive care, we have several goals:

  • Uncover the underlying cause of the health problem
  • Suggest a care plan to produce the fastest results possible
  • Offer ways patients can participate in their recovery
  • Explain the value of post-symptomatic wellness care
Relief or wellness care... it's your choice.
2. Wellness Care

We offer our patients post intensive treatment to maximize and manage their condition and achieve the highest levels of health they can. Through educational opportunities (like this website), we hope to communicate the value of chiropractic care after post intensive treatment. Our desire is to see our patients abandon the prevailing sickness care model (waiting for symptoms and then taking action), in favor of an emerging wellness model.

You’re the Boss

Bottom line. We are here to help you with your condition. Every patient has different wants and needs, first is usually getting out of pain. Our goal is to help you do that. If through this process you discover the importance of how to manage and maximize your results, we can do that too.

Dr. Abercrombie Asks some important questions of interest to Fremont residents - Chiropractor Fremont Dr. Abercrombie Asks...

What's the difference between sick care and health care?
Sick care is largely about relieving or suppressing symptoms. Health care is about improving performance. While sick care is about how you feel, health care is about how you function. Sick care is what you do to treat an obvious problem, and health care is what you do to avoid the problem and advance your well-being.
What is the significance of "growing pains?"
Chiropractors know that aches or pains at any age mean something's not right. In fact, many children go through stages of growth without aches or pains. So while "growing pains" may be common, they're not normal. That's why our Fremont chiropractic practice sees lots of children. A chiropractic checkup for your child can often help detect and correct problems that are more difficult to correct in Fremont adults.
